Now last week, or whenever the first week was. I decided to put the style/idea to the test in a couple of hours worth of work. Now one of the main problems the group has was not to make it look too "gamey" trying to sort out the definition of this i guesed it was pointing out a failure at photorealism, games that try and fail at perfection. So with this render i tried to keep things natural following the natural lines of the polys with my texture (also meant a tonne less work trying to remember how the wall was shaped). Its a hell of a lot easier to whip up a uv snapshot hoof a diffuse glow on it and work from that, aslong as the moddels clean that is! heres the progression> (more details after the jump)
